COLDPLAY'S CHRIS MARTIN GETS REVENGE !

Chris Martin has got revenge on the bully who made his school days a misery.The Coldplay frontman recently ran into his former tormentor and smugly relished introducing his gorgeous actress wife Gwyneth Paltrow. Chris is quoted by Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "I bumped into a guy who used to give me hell at school. He was a bully who said I couldn'tmake anything of myself. I had great pleasure asking what he was up to now. He wasn't up to much. Then I turned around and said, 'This is my wife Gwyneth.' His face dropped and he looked really embarrassed."It was a proud moment. I'm not one to get my own back and look for revenge - but that was pretty sweet."Chris, who attended Dorset's private Sherborne School, admits he was a painfully shy pupil and his musical interests isolated him from other students. He said: "I wasn't the happiest at school. I was good at sport but I was quite geeky. I was a bit of a swot and just wanted to do music."

Coldplay have hired Timbaland to produce their new album.The British band have asked the American hip-hop mogul to take the helm on their upcoming fourth LP and help them come up with a fresh sound.Timbaland is thrilled the group, fronted by Chris Martin, have chosen him to be their producer and insists he cannot wait to get "into their heads". He said: "I will try to get into their heads, to see what they thinking about. I will just try to figure out how they are feeling. And if they are feeling a certain way, I will go by that. It's more about everyday life then it is about music."Timbaland has worked with some of the biggest names in pop, including Missy Elliott, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez and P Diddy. He masterminded Justin Timberlake's worldwide hit album 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' and also produced Nelly Furtado's singles 'Promiscuous' and 'Maneater'. Chris co-wrote Nelly's song 'All Good Things (Come to an End)' with the Canadian singer, Timbaland and Nate 'Danja' Hills.He originally recorded backing vocals on the track but his record label EMI allegedly stopped the version from being released.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's new neighbours could be Kate Moss and Pete Doherty.Kate and Pete have fallen in love with a 10 million mansion just a few doors away from Gwyneth and Chris' family home in London's fashionable Belsize Park. A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "They are pretty keen on this place on Chris and Gwyneth's road. They like it because there are options to make it a bit more private."But even if they don't go for it, Gwyneth and Chris won't totally escape. All three houses they are considering are within a few streets of each other."The supermodel and rocker Pete are planning to take a second look at the five bedroom Grade-II listed Georgian property this week. If the couple buy it, their other celebrity neighbours, will include Oasis star Noel Gallagher, comedian David Walliams and TV presenter Chris Evans. Kate and Pete have previously looked at exclusive properties in London's Primrose Hill and Regent's Park. Pete, 28 - who has been in rehab for drug addiction - has promised to clean up his lifestyle for Kate. He is expected to earn 4 million this year from an upcoming record deal with Parlophone and a tour with his band Babyshambles. A source revealed: "Pete never even used a bank account, but that has all changed. He used to hate the idea of owning a house. But now he sees it as a wonderful chance to settle down and pledge himself to Kate."

Chris Martin has turned into a "big kid" since wife Gwyneth Paltrow landed a role in 'Iron Man'.The Coldplay frontman is a huge fan of the Marvel superhero and has splashed out on hundreds of copies of 'Iron Man' comics to help Gwyneth research her character. A source told several website's "Chris is like a big kid with this. He's ordered a whole stack of comics which he says are for Gwyneth to help her get into the role but in fact he's spent more time reading them than she has."The mother-of-two is set to play Virginia 'Pepper' Potts, the executive assistant to Iron Man's regular alter ego, billionaire industrialist Tom Stark. Gwyneth, 34, will star alongside Robert Downey Jr. - who will play the armour-clad hero - in the Jon Favreau-directed film, due to be released in May 2008. Kevin Feige, president of production for Marvel Studios, said: "Gwyneth is the embodiment of a leading lady."She brings intelligence, poise and an incredible range of talent to this role."

GWYNETH PALTROW SCARED OF CANCER

Gwyneth Paltrow believes her family have been "cursed" by cancer.The Oscar-winning actress lost her father Bruce to the disease in 2002, both her grandmothers and a cousin, who was only 23. Gwyneth, 34, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, is hoping her vegan diet will keep her healthy. Speaking at an international anti-cancer campaign last night, she said: "I am challenging these evil genes by natural means. I am convinced that by eating biological foods it is possible to avoid tumors."Gwyneth follows a macrobiotic diet, mainly consisting of whole grains, nuts, seeds, fruit and vegetables. However, she does have a treat once in a while. Gwyneth said: "I'm not as stringent as I was in the past. Now I'll have cheese once in a while or white flour, but I still believe in whole grains and no sugar."
